Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston has made it clear that his government sees oil and natural gas development – both offshore and onshore – as central to the province’s economic future.
From offshore exploration to onshore natural gas reserves, Houston has spent the past few weeks aggressively promoting resource development as a path to economic growth, lower energy costs and new government revenues.
