Nova Scotia’s onshore geology appears to hold a lot of natural gas.

NS needs more energy related economic activity to fund essential government services.

Natural gas is used here by many of our businesses and institutions for space heat/cooling and industrial processes.

Currently, we import our natural gas from the US or western Canada, and it is very expensive because of the distance it must travel.

Increasingly, natural gas is being used as bridge source to generate electricity when renewable energy sources like wind aren’t producing.
